Since 30th May 2011, 2 new filters have been added to SafeMail in order to offer you an even more complete secured messaging system :

IP Reputation

Detecting zombie networks (botnets) responsible for 85% of spams sending, this module checks up millions of IP addresses worldwide and accumulates information on their external parameters (DNS, location). Its analysis of the traffic is continual and automatic. The distinction between legitimate and illegitimate senders is thus made in real-time, and spams are blocked even before entering your network.

RPD

All of the attacks have common markers, regardless of the language, the format or the encryption method. Based on the identification and the classification of specific massive sending models (and not according to the contents of messages), the RPD technology blocks more than 99% of spams with a false positive rate close to zero.

These new filters are automatically activated in your configuration
As for any other SafeMail module, you will be able to modify the parameters in your SafeMail interface (quarantine, tag message, etc.).
